John Davies married Mary Pots in December 1850 in Dudley. He died 1862 at the age of 35 and Mary married again Sept 1866 to Job Mills.

The 1871 census shows her living with John Pots aged 80 (her father) and William Mills (aged 9) said to be grandson (of John Pots), and probable son of Job Mills.

In the 1871 Census: Mary Davies 1826 from Shropshire Dudley Tipton Staffordshire. Ann Maria Davies was not found in the 1871 census, nor Job Mills.

By the 1881 census she was living at 84 Dudley Port, Tipton. Mary Mills (aged 53) was living with Ann Maria Davies (aged 21) and William Henry Davies (aged 19). [53]
